The union between YKK and the National Chamber of Fashion is the natural result of many common topics and a shared Mission: first and foremost the commitment to sustainability of the entire Made in Italy supply chain, the vocation for the highest quality of products and innovation, as well as constant support for young fashion design talents.
Founded in 1934 by Tadao Yoshida in Tokyo as San-S Shokai, the company subsequently registered its brand name as Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha, now known as YKK, the world's largest manufacturer of zippers and fastening systems.
